Società Dante Alighieri

The Società Dante Alighieri is an Italian cultural institution whose purpose is to protect and promote Italian language and culture throughout the world. Founded in 1889 by a group of intellectuals headed by Giosuè Carducci, the foundation was established by Royal Decree on 18 July 1893 and has been equated, for structure and purpose, to NPO’s since 27th July 2004. Nicolò Monaldi was elected to the Board of Directors of the Committee of Verona thanks to his natural vocation for foreign relations.
